Help protect the future of breastfeeding in public

Post date: Jul 4, 2013 2:50:32 AM

It's a sad fact that many breastfeeding mothers are still told to cover up or be discreet leaving them feeling humiliated and like they've done something wrong.

The impact is women stopping before they're ready and denying future generations the experience of seeing other women breastfeed. Breastfeeding will remain a sensitive issue and exclusive rates of breastfeeding will remain low.

The best way we can protect the future of breastfeeding in public is through education and advocacy.

The Australian Breastfeeding Association is dedicated to seeing a greater acceptance and encouragement of breastfeeding whenever and wherever it takes place. Our programs and services play a vital role in creating safe and supportive environments for breastfeeding mothers.

By donating today, you can help create lasting change in the community and protect the future of breastfeeding in public. Your support can make a difference.

Remember if you donate before 30 June you can claim your tax benefits for this financial year.
